WeeklyUpdates/Scratchpad
From MozillaWiki
A dumping ground for any suggestions for changes to the Weekly Update meeting.
- Produce guidance on what sort of things are worth mentioning
- Only call on areas who have added stuff to the wiki
- Get people to propose what they are going to say beforehand, and vet it
- Allow pre-recorded contributions (audio or video), also vetted or edited
- Allow listeners to ask questions somewhere online, before or after; get them answered in the broadcast or the following week
- Question session in IRC afterwards?
- Post-meeting survey, plugged on IRC and in minutes, to find out people's views on the meeting?
- Encourage audience to pay attention
- Talk about problems you ran into and areas you need help
- Accomplishments: 10 seconds. Problem areas: 30 seconds. I need help with: 1 minute. Next week: 1 minute.
