About and How to Use These Help Pages
About: These help pages are designed to help Event Hosts use Splash, the SaaS that Mozilla is using for Event Management. If you are host a Mozilla Event, then this the place for you!
How to Use These Help Pages: The pages are divided up by features with the exception of the 'Getting Started' section. In many cases we link to the vendor's help site. This will happen when we both use a feature 'out of the box' and when we believe their documentation is strong. This allows us to keep the documention current with less maintainence.
There are many unique to Mozilla features that we outline on the pages themselves. This should ensure that there is self-service support for our specific use cases. If something seems out of date, please send a message to the support team or update the page. Thanks!

Creating and Editing Events
1. Navigate to Events dashboard page
2. Hit “Create Event” button (Green button at top - left)
- Leave the RSVP Event option selected, as it’s the only event type we currently support (free event, guests respond with Yes/No)
- Enter title - Make it recognizable and unique
- Select an Event type
- Read and accept Mozilla’s Community Participation Guidelines
- Enter location
- Enter date & time
- Click Next
- Choose your theme
Currently we have 4 Brand Approved themes - Mozilla Generic and Firefox Generic with English and French languages and color variables on each.
If you are doing a Firefox event, use the Firefox theme. If you are hosting a Mozilla event, use the Mozilla theme.
