About and How to Use These Help Pages

About: These help pages are designed to help Event Hosts use Splash, the SaaS that Mozilla is using for Event Management. If you are host a Mozilla Event, then this the place for you!

How to Use These Help Pages: The pages are divided up by features with the exception of the 'Getting Started' section. In many cases we link to the vendor's help site. This will happen when we both use a feature 'out of the box' and when we believe their documentation is strong. This allows us to keep the documention current with less maintainence.

There are many unique to Mozilla features that we outline on the pages themselves. This should ensure that there is self-service support for our specific use cases. If something seems out of date, please send a message to the support team or update the page. Thanks!

Event Designer

Remember! Splash does not replace using Event Designer if you need to book a Mozilla space. We are looking out how we can streamline this process with that team in the future.

Terms of Use

The heart of Mozilla is people. We put people first and do our best to recognize, appreciate and respect the diversity of our global contributors. The Mozilla Project welcomes contributions from everyone who shares our goals and wants to contribute in a healthy and constructive manner within our communities. By creating an event on this platform you are agreeing to respect and adhere to Mozilla’s Community Participation Guidelines (“CPG”) in order to help us create a safe and positive community experience for all.

Events that do not share our goals, or violate the CPG in any way, will be removed from the platform and potentially subject to further consequences. Repeated violations will result in loss of access to the platform, either temporarily or in perpetuity.

Events that will be removed are: Off-topic: this event is not related to Mozilla’s products, technologies or mission and should not be on this platform. Spam: This event is an advertisement, or vandalism. It is not useful or relevant to the Mozilla project. Inappropriate: This event contains content that a reasonable person would consider offensive, abusive, or a violation of our CPG.

If you see events that you believe violate these guidelines please flag them on the events platform.
