How do I become an editor?
Editors should be experienced add-on authors in order to perform their job well. If you haven't authored any add-ons, then you won't be accepted. If the add-ons you authored are not listed on AMO, you can still apply if you can provide evidence of your authorship.
Before you apply, you should read the following documentation:
You can apply by sending an email to amo-editors at mozilla.org with the subject "AMO Editor Application" and the following information:
- Your name
- Your e-mail address (same as your AMO account)
- Your location and timezone
- Which products you use (i.e. Firefox, Thunderbird, SeaMonkey, Sunbird, etc.)
- Which operating systems you can test on
- Any experience you have testing or creating extensions
- Who invited you to become an editor?
- How much time per week can you dedicate to reviewing add-ons?
- Any other relevant information
