General

  • Any New/spiked Windows 8 crashes after the latest release
    • No, bug 806346 seems to remain the only item of notice, and it's not too huge in numbers.
  • Where do we have our documentation of what we mark as topcrash?

Socorro

  • Pushed out new correlations last Wednesday
  • Expect to push exposing exploitability of crashes in the UI (logged in only) this Wednesday
  • New Django app was scheduled for secreview last week - waiting on results bug 802692

Flash

  • Flash 11.5 crashes
    • Adoption of 11.5 is growing slowly, now at roughly the same level as the last 11.4 version.
    • No surprises compared to its beta phase, the two notable regressions in 11.5 compared to 11.4 are bug 810797 (~3% of 11.5 reports) and bug 807714 (~1% of 11.5 reports), even percentages are consistent with Flash 11.5 beta. Absolute numbers are of course rising as 11.5 gets more release adoption.

Desktop

Beta

  • Beta 18 not shipped yet, so no useful data there.

Aurora

  • Aurora 19 updates not enabled yet, so no useful data there.

Release

  • Did not reach the usual 10-20M ADUs before/at throttling this time
    • Looks like ~9.75M on 17.0 right now
  • Third Party Issues
    • The Yandex-related issues are still high up, no decline at this time - bug 770238, bug 812319

    • bug 814096 crash in RapportTanzan17 @ JS_GetStringEncodingLength with Trusteer Rapport
    • bug 814790 crash in libunity-webapps.so.0.0.0 with Ubuntu Unity Web App

    • bug 813947 Norton Confidential
    • bug 814316 Norton Confidential Mac
    • bug 789700

Trunk

  • New crashes
    • bug 815085 crash in mozilla::SourceMediaStream::AppendToTrack
    • bug 813024 crash in mozilla::layers::BasicLayerManager::SetDefaultTarget

Mobile

  • Rates for 17 are slightly higher than for 16, but pretty decent.
  • Top issues are bug 752828, bug 763864, and bug 805754.
  • No surprises in ARMv6 land, release has the same few crashes on top that were up with in beta, and they're not in large numbers.
