Requirements

• Support the ability to sign-up (and not just sign-in) to a Firefox Account from a supported i-Device

User Stories

• As a user, I want to be able to sign up to a Firefox Account from my iOS device because I'm super interested in the value it will bring to my Firefox experience.

Acceptance Criteria

• I can sign up for a Firefox Account from a supported iOS device

Date: 09-10-2015

• Exploratory testing
  • Device: Iphone 6+ (IOS 9.0.2) and Iphone 4S (IOS 9.0)
  • Builds: Firefox 1.1 (1107)
    • Tests:
      • Choose what to sync
        • not working
      • Try to re-create the same account
        • "Account already exists" message appears
      • Sync between Mobile and Desktop
        • browse several pages + bookmark a few sites on desktop + saves passwords on different sites
        • on mobile go to settings and "Sync now"
          • All data created on desktop will be displayed on mobile.
      • Sign in with an existing Firefox account
        • The account is signed in successfully and sync begins almost immediately
      • Create a new Firefox Account from the first-run tour and settings
        • Follow the account creation flow. Go to Settings. Tap "Verify your email address". Verify it from email (desktop and mobile)
          • Sync begins immediately after setup is complete.
          • After creating a new account and it is not verified, in settings Last synced date appears as "just now". Filled Bug 1213206.
      • Create account with an age that doesn't meet certain age requirements
        • A message is displayed "You must meet certain age requirements to create a Firefox Account"
        • A "Learn more" link is displayed. Tapping it does nothing. Filled Bug 1213210.
      • Forget password from a newly created account
        • Reset password after going to settings -> sync in -> forget password?
        • Click on the link received via email and enter new password
          • Sync in is done successfully with the new passowrd
