Project Description
It's a new day for marketing! With all the new analytics tools out there, marketing has gone from being very creative focused and driven to being more data-driven. Which is a wonderful thing because nowadays marketers are able to develop benchmarks, set targets and measure performance better than ever. However, not all marketers are data experts, and that is one of the main reasons this project was born!
We set out to equip Engagers with tools that empower them to think like data experts without having to be data experts. Tools that will help project managers analyze their data, know the most important aspects of it and find optimization opportunities.
Before we got started on building tools, we developed the following hypothesis:
Hypothesis
By creating “data-driven project” tools, we’ll simplify Engagement projects that are driven by data and set up for success.
This will increase performance and efficiency around agile project management, metrics tracking and reporting.
In a nutshell, these tools will:
- Simplify data-driven Engagement projects
- Empower Engagers to analyze vs. just report
- Help easily gather data that tells a story
- Help surface optimization opportunities
- Help Engagers determine the best optimization opportunities
