Overall Engineering Goals for 2011 Q4
- Conduct and publish a comprehensive impact assessment for our fixed release process and implement identified changes to address problems.
- Joint with Product: Decide on and publish a clear policy for binary add-on support that enables add-on authors to create add-ons with a reasonable expected compatibility lifetime.
- Implement minimal impact update system.
- Implement a native UI for Fennec.
- Implement a B2G phone that can be used as a daily phone by developers.
