Description

ENGLISH: This event is organized by students of Computer Science Engineering in a Peruvian University. During a week, students and graduates interested in topics related with Information Technologies will hace the oportunity to listen experiences and knowledge from different specialists. Also, there is extra-academic activities.

Mozilla Peru was present the previous edition https://wiki.mozilla.org/IIISemanaFIS-UNICA with two keynotes. In this new week we have assigned three keynotes, but this time with three different speakers.

ESPAÑOL: Este evento es organizado por estudiantes de Ingeniería de Sistemas en una universidad peruana. Durante una semana, estudiantes y graduados interesados en temas relacionados con tecnologías de la información tendrán la oportunidad de escuchar experiencias y conocimientos de diferentes especialistas. También habrá actividades extracurriculares.

Mozilla Perú estuvo presente la edición anterior https://wiki.mozilla.org/IIISemanaFIS-UNICA con dos exposiciones. En esta nueva semana tenemos asignados tres conferencias, pero esta vez con tres diferentes expositores.

As Web developers, one of the main concerns is how vulnerable are our websites or web applications. This talk explains some security risks and, more important, how to avoid them.

Surviving development of web interfaces: CSS Frameworks

In the development web field there are two defined sides: the backend developers (who use PHP, SQL, Python, Ruby and other languages) and the frontend developers (who use HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Flash and more). But what happens when a backend developer decides to take all the project? It has to fight with the development of the web interface. In this talk I will show how I personally achieved to survive to this torture, this development phase.

En el mundo del desarrollo web, existen dos frentes bien marcadas, los backend dev (PHP, SQL, Python, Ruby, etc.) y los frontend dev (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Flash, etc.), pero que pasa cuando un banckend dev decide tomar el solo un proyecto, pues sufrimos con el desarrollo de la interfaz web. En esta presentación expondré como personalmente he logrado "sobrevivir" a esta tortura, digo fase del desarrollo.
