Project Description
This project will be focusing on the Firefox first run experience and tour that is shown to users who install Firefox for the first time. The purpose of the tour is to educate users about Firefox that is supported by the growth theory that users who understand how to use the product better drive more usage. We will be exploring how to get more people to take a tour and how to more of those people to finish the tour. We will be experiment with various tours and measuring not only conversion rates on the website side, but also how that impacts usage.
Project Goals
The goals of the this project is getting more people to start the tour and more of those people to finish. The growth theory is that if more people know how to use the product, those users will drive more usage and be retained longer.
- Improve tour start rate to 25%
- Improve tour completion rate to 50%
- Understand impact to MAUs on users who see each variation
