This page, and those linked from it, explain how you can install your own local copy of the Drumbeat website, hack on it to make it better, and submit patches.

People

The following people are involved in Drumbeat website development:

  • Gerv
  • Carlo Frinolli Creative Director, UI designer, Web designer, Thinker
  • Jamey Boje Drupal Developer | Front End Developer | Visual Designer.
  • Ned Schwartz Designer and Front-end developer.
  • Matt
  • Paul Booker (Drupal Developer | Wiki maintainer ) (Sponsored by Ian Hayward @ Appcoast)
  • Michael Haggerty (Drupal Developer | Guy who built it in the first place)
  • You? :-)

Staging Server

Code committed to SVN will automatically be pulled onto the staging server every 10 minutes from a particular tag, which we move when we want to push code to it.

  • Updates to drupal core and contributed modules will be pulled directly from drupal.org CVS servers (Gerv: they will?)
  • All pages are served behind a caching reverse-proxy which sometimes gives rise to problems accessing the site? (Gerv: they are?)
