Some of my suggestions for an alternative STOP button in FF4. It is not logical to use an 'X' to mean 'stop' as computer UIs also use 'X' to mean 'close' or 'delete' which is completely different to 'stop'. FF2 had it correct using an octagon, and I think I prefer the mockup I have here with the octagon and 'X' in the centre.
