The following is just an initial dump of information to be used for future documentation.

Information

  • Sandbox location: /data/new-updates/testing on QA-SET
  • Config files are named <version>_update.cfg
  • Running the daemon: updated.py <platform> <path_to_update_script>
    • MUST BE RUNNING ON ALL TEST ENVIRONMENTS TO EXECUTE TESTS
  • Staging the builds: stage_builds.py -c <path_to_config_file>
  • Running the tests: push_update.py <version> <channel> <platform>
