Test Case
- Install a third party application that installs an add-on in different locations (Registry, User profile, Application Directory).We used the list of addons in the etherpad here Link
- We used the following third party add-ons: Winamp toolbar, Avast, Div X,+Web Player, Babylon Toolbar, Yontoo
- Start the Try server build after the application finished installing build
- The notification appears every time for every add-on in the list above.The user can select the option he wishes in the notification, as specified in this Link
We tried to verify the upgrade issue by installing some third party addons and afterwards upgrading and verifying that the addons are listed correctly in the showSelection UI screen (from Firefox Firefox 8Beta3 to Try Server build). However, this could not work on the Try Server build, while using the same profile, as the addons from previous versions were not recognised there.

Setting goal to have mozmill automated tests for this feature under the add-ons manager component
