Getting to and from the Mozilla Camp

Arriving at Berlin Tegel Airport

Getting from the airport to the centre is easy and fast.
The best way is to take the Airport Express Bus – going either to Zoo station (city west) or Alexanderplatz (city east). Buses leave roughly every 10 min.

Ticket:


A single ticket (AB) can be bought directly from the driver for 2,30€/person.
If buying a ticket at the multi-lingual machines, make sure you validate them at the smaller machines in the bus. We highly recommend buying and validating tickets, as they get checked regularly and the fee for travelling without a valid ticket is €40.

Arriving at Berlin Schoenenfeld Airport

From Schönefeld, the quickest way to get into the city is by taking the Airport Express (RB14, RE7) – a train service operated by Deutsche Bahn.
Trains leave from platforms 3 or 4 at Berlin Schönefeld Flughafen Station which is an easy six minute walk from the airport terminal.
Berlin-bound Airport Express trains are now marked "Berlin Hbf./final destination" at Schönefeld Station (Hbf. = Hauptbahnhof = Main Station).

Ticket:


A single ticket (ABC) from Schönefeld Airport (fare zone C) to Berlin city centre (fare zone A) costs 3,00€ (Berlin ABC) and covers the Airport Express, S-Bahn, U-Bahn, bus and tram. Multi-lingual ticket machines are to be found in the arrivals area of terminal A, outside terminal A next to the bus bays and in the airport station. Please make sure you validate them at the smaller machines nerby. We highly recommend buying and validating tickets, as they get checked regularly and the fee for travelling without a valid ticket is €40.
You may make as many stops or transfers as you like during the two-hour period of validity, however, the ticket is not valid for return or round trip.

Please walk to the urban rail S Flughafen Berlin-Schönefeld. The route is well signposted (6min walk).
Take the train RE7 (Direction: Dessau, Hauptbahnhof) or RB14 (Direction: Nauen, Bahnhof) to S+U Friedrichstr.
change at S+U Friedrichstr. to underground U6 (Direction: U Alt-Tegel)
get off at U Naturkundemuseum
Take the exit to Chausseestraße the hotel is located on the right hand side on the Chausseestraße on the right hand side (300m to walk).
