The Grow Mozilla initiative exists to add more casual, active and core contributors to all areas of the Mozilla project.

The Contributor Engagement and People teams provide programs, channels and tools that are used by all teams across the entire Mozilla organization to successfully find and work with new contributors.

Content experts from different project teams (Stewards) craft community building strategies that are used to guide potential contributors into volunteer opportunities. Potential contributors are reached through online and offline channels. Each team sets community health and growth targets to measure and optimize the effectiveness of converting people into casual and active contributors.
