Sync

Android Sync (rnewman)

• Landed:
  • More thorough handling of cluster URL changes.
  • Clients engine (not yet smart about uploads, doesn't process commands).
  • Tabs engine (server => Fennec only, due to missing content provider on Fennec's side).
• Passwords and form history unblocked.
• Fennec beta sometime next month, most likely.
• Next up:
  • More guards in bookmarks.
  • Batching of inserts. Big perf wins here.
  • Implementing of missing internals (resetting, doing less work).
  • Passwords and form history.

• Continued work with rfkelly on initial QA/Dev testing of Sync 2.0 against various flavors of Linux
• Working with jrconlin on some initial QA/Dev testing of BiPostal on qa1 VM
• QA test planning in in progress for the following projects:

  • Sync 2.0/Token Server combo

BrowserID (jbonacci)

• Work continues on Train 22: Bug 732142 - QA and deploy BrowserID train-2012.03.01 to production
• Working with OPs today on the roll-out of PHX1 for BID
