The XPCOMGC project is designed to unify memory management between the DOM and the JS engine.
20 min - bsmedberg will give a short presentation on current status and progress 40 min - discussion of current topics, including
- jemalloc+gc
- non-cyclical DOM ownership?
- the use or non-use of DRC
- incremental and generational collection and enforcing write barriers
Some of these topics will undoubtedly spill into later ad-hoc sessions
