Title: Development of mobile web applications

Abstract:
The computing trend that will define the next years is the usage of mobile devices. However, the development of applications for these devices is still marked by the choice of one or more platforms (Android, iOS or others), who force to duplicate programming efforts and leave out a percentaje of users; but there is a different view: the web we use today, just upgraded for smartphones and tablets.

The workshop will show tools and techniques applicable nowadays for the mobile web development, and the attendants will develop a functional prototype of an application. At the end, it will bring forward the Mozilla's initiatives in the mobile market.
