  • Firefox 3
    • (Mic) B5 - updates
      • Working on finishing bugs before rc1. Nothing major but lots of little issues.
    • (Mic) in-Product page changes, getting started and bug 415580
      • No one spoke up in support of this. There were objections.
      • (action:Mic) Talk to Beltzner about this.
      • (Pascal) Phishing protection pages are not ready for L10n. Some concern over design vs. L10n lately.
      • (Pascal) Created web@localization.bugs
    • (Axel) We'll be shipping a few new locales: Afrikaans, Indonesian, Mongolian, nn-NO, Serbian
      • 43 locales for b5
      • (Mic) Do we have a process for testing new locales?
        • (Tim) Just spot testing and litmus. If we could get a community member to look, it would be ideal.
      • (Chris) Maybe we should announce new locales in the newsgroup so we could get additional people involved
        • (action:Mic) Add to about:mozilla instead
  • Prep for RC1
    • How ready should we be with L10n? Should everything be done?
      • (Axel) Yep, we should be done. We shouldn't have planned work post RC1.
      • Deadline for RC1 is approx. 20 days.
      • (Chris) We should get on irc after b5 and have a "lay of the land" meeting about timeline, potential string changes, opt in for certain testing, web content (action: Tim, Chris, Mic (organizer), Pascal)
  • QA udpate
    • Results for Minotaur on Windows are out. (mailed to l10n-drivers)
      • Couple locales that need to be rerun. 4 locales are new.
    • Beta5: Will do spot checks for tier 1 locales, then do a full review of locales for rc1.
    • (action:mic) Will create another google spreadsheet for B5 testing
    • April 5th is official date for L10n freeze

    • es-ES and es-AR are going to put a survey online in their language about the quality of the L10n
    • Survey for FOSDEM is being distributed
