Firefox / Fennec updates

Firefox

• We remain code frozen for FF 3.6 b1
  • 48 green
    • With 43 signed off

Fennec

• Axel is getting RelEng bugs on file to attack multi-locale build

Web L10n

• main .lang checker tool update, many have updated their mozilla.com files
• contacted all locales that have outdated main .lang file
• hosted a meeting on mozilla.org localization plan

AMO

• Launch last night of 5.1.0
  • We will wait until next week to really do outreach on l10n

Productization and de-betaing

• debated Turkish last week

Fennec:

• Search will ship
• web-based protocol handlers will not be exposed in Fennec 1.0
• need to push on some focus questions going forward: what platforms to focus on...what languages are required...how will search engines be displayed on multi-locale vs. single locale builds

Tools

• Silme 0.8 about to get released
• contribute.mozilla.org
  • working on optimizing the ease for figuring out where to start
• Verbatim
  • hit some VM glitches with SVN
  • cannot update SVN repository
• Dashboard is performant now, but need to get three months of builds. Need the VM beefed up to generate more data.
