Open issues/risks

We need time and cycles from the MDN folks to help us write and edit the various tutorials.

Stage 1: Definition

1. Feature overview

We will develop a common entry point for developers seeking to create apps for any major vertical. The landing page will contain a brief introduction to the web app platform, graphically-paired calls to action for tutorials on each vertical, and detailed information on things like the marketplace and the technologies involved in creating an app.

2. Users & use cases

This initiative targets developers first, and all others second. The landing page in question may contain information useful to business decision makers, press, and others, but this will not be a primary concern when formulating the content.

3. Dependencies

MDN, WebDev, UX, Engagement

4. Requirements

Create an entry point for developers seeking to build web apps that quickly gets them into the vertical-specific app creation track they are looking for.

Marketing the general apps platform to other audiences through this conduit.
