Status Updates

• Proof of concept prototype of B2G tablet UI with the system UI running as chrome, as per the new architecture https://github.com/benfrancis/gecko-dev/tree/b2g-tablet/b2g/chrome

• Waiting for Fabrice's patches to land in the transition branches to start hacking on the real Gaia system app

• Team is working to get builds and tests up and running in the transition branches
• We will be turning off many of the regular device builds in master to reduce the compute & storage overhead. The following builds will remain active:
  • Aries/Z3C: Engineering and Debug builds (the transition team will focus on Aries during the refactoring process)
  • Nexus-5-L: This build is primarily to support the SmartTV team
• We will continue to build Mulet throughout the process
