Operations Updates

• Change Freeze now until 13 inclusive
• Change Freeze Dec 23 to Jan 08 inclusive
• ES Cluster became unstable again
  • increasing # of shards may help
  • adding monitoring
  • we want to upgrade it, but will not upgrade it until mid January
    • • reboot the nodes, upgrade JVM, upgrade ES, be less weird
• let's dockerize the things we are keeping from the main repo

Major Projects

Splitting out collector

• Will has all the access he needs to test
• system test found a payload that halts the system
• have not heard back from mbrandt re: load testing
• if everything goes perfectly (haha) we will have a fully functional dev environment by end of year

Splitting out processor

  • seeking early feedback on architecture, specifically crash and rule abstractions
  • processor app is still rough, mostly cloned from antennae and not working

Replacing FTPscraper

• No news
• FTPscraper.py, Nick Thomas is forking it to put into TaskCluster

Deprecation rampage

• No more report/list
• old topcrashers will be removed
• marking a bunch of stuff as deprecation

e2e tests

• whole test suite runs in phantom!
• we uncovered some things, like super search has not been tested since select2 was introduced
• next action needs matt. need to make a fake account for testing sign in
• and test coverage for the public api is pending!
