- Possible bugs
- Add new mac buildbot masters
https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=1264417 Vlad: I have added some wiki pages in order to help you
- Write a tool to update bugzilla bugs for outstanding machine loans and ask if the loaner is still needed on say, a weekly basis
https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=1171165
- Datazilla bug: vlad picked up this bug
- Code cleanup - remove http.py from tools repo
https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=912637 (Vlad: I also pick up this bug ) - done
kmoir additional bugs
- This mana page describes all the releng clusters
https://mana.mozilla.org/wiki/display/websites/Releng+Cluster Are there any services that you interact with that are missing? (We are preparing to move these systems and incorporating a standard deployment scenario)
- could start working on patches for this bug to disable linux32 builds and tests since disabling b2g tests is almost done
- vlad is working on this
- https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=1209932
- on hold until we reach a conclusion in https://bugzil.la/1255890
From coop:
- Pinged by RyanVM today(Fri) re: bug 1244446 - Intermittent failure to running rmtree on Linux, "WARNING: Command failed. See logs for output.", "# umount -n /builds/mock_mozilla/mozilla-centos6-x86_64/root/tmp/ccache", etc.
Have we done any digging here yet?
From Kmoir:
- Other bugs to look at
- Long Inter-Job Timing on t-yosemite-r7 https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=1258480
- Remove datazilla info from configs: https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=1262123
(not as high priority as root password project but something to look at)
- New mozilla.com accounts are delayed due to infra issues last week - thank you for your patience
- Linux32 - Lawrence has given approval for this change in the next release cycle
gchang (Gerry Chang) from Taipei office is interested in helping out with buildduty during his timezone
04.07.2016 - 04.13.2016
[root password]
- replaced “node_security_level” variable with aspects (big thanks to Dustin for his help)
- Started working to create a list of accounts from the authorized_keys used on servers
- Below you can find the google docs with the changes
https://docs.google.com/document/d/1_-l1ZG_B4dbvmZiGDpaacdZ2FlZMbeqyKY0nFMuYMj4
- tested if changing the root password based on puppet aspects works fine for Ubuntu and OS X (10.6, 10.7, 10.10.5) - no issues found
- CentOS and Windows - the OSs that are still to be tested. While I don’t think CentOS to be causing issues, I’d like to do the tests on Windows though - cannot loan AWS instances because we don’t have inventory access.
- filed bug to see if the signing servers and signing workers should be included in the process, cc-ed Amy and Hal on the bug
- investigated to see what other places should be updated to store the new passwords (other than RelEng private repo), but had little luck. Will need to ping Amy or Dustin about this.
Started working for the patch [ progress ]
- (not high prority) https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=1260793
Is about relengbot repository to be moved to github.com/mozilla
Created the patches but when I’m trying to test the patches on dev-master2 I’m receiving some errors when the new master is created, I’m still investigating why is failing ( errors that I’m receiving https://irccloud.mozilla.com/pastebin/zlhZhWaU )
I added some suggestions but nobody confirmed them <- (kmoir) maybe needinfo grenade on the bug
Attached a list of accounts used for authorized_keys file
