The 0.6 release will build on the performance improvements that went into 0.5.

Our major focus for this release is improvements for fennec.

In particular, this includes:

  • Revamp the user experience, especially for first run scenarios.
  • Update the server API (for user registration) - this will not be backwards compatible.
  • More performance tuning/optimizations for fennec.
  • Better algorithm for syncing bookmarks using relative positioning.
  • Migrate from 0.3 to 0.5 backend API.

The target release date is Aug 26, 2009
