Status

  • Short term plan is to stablize session restore and OMTC, then reach out to a couple addon developers to start porting addons to e10s.
  • TBD: Are the current MDN docs adequate or should we write a "How To Port Your Addon To e10s" guide?
  • billm expects to finish session restore this week.
  • billm plans to investigate the Adblock Plus and Video Download Helper addons to see what he can fix before we reach out to the addons' developers.
  • dvander is working on software compositor for Windows and Linux OMTC.
  • ncameron is working on hardware-accelerated compositor for Windows.
  • mhammond expects to have e10s tests ready by December. He is working with A-Team to configure a TBPL environment for e10s tests (because we need to enable a pref and disable some tests).
  • Matt has a possible fix for YouTube Flash crashes on Windows and Linux (but not OS X).
