  • Found and filed another one - Bug 1193454 - [e10s] On TabChild::RecvActivate, IMEStateManager can send a sync message to the parent process
    • According to masayuki, this is, unfortunately, probably a WONTFIX
• M8 - bug 1106321 - Printing Page Setup Settings Disobeyed Under e10s
  • Landed in integration
• M8 - bug 1141337 - [e10s] "Save Page|Frame As..." in remote browser causes unsafe CPOW usage warnings
  • Should be up for review today
• M8 - bug 1109714 - Handle anonymous XUL feed subscriber UI in e10s
  • Stole this from gw280, and should have a patch up soon.
• M8 - bug 1191976 - [e10s] Some child process crashes are not being reported
  • Sounds like a pretty big deal. Starting this today.
• Started helping BenWa get profiles for talos tests
  • bug 1103094 - Start profiling subprocesses if the parent process is already profiling
    • Preliminary patch posted
  • bug 1193838 - Make it possible to gather profiles from processes that have exited
    • This is pretty important for tps profiles for e10s. Should hopefully have a working version of this early next week.
• Reminder - going on longish PTO soon! Won't be at next team meeting. Back for one day, August 24th, for last minute hand offs and reviews, and then I turn into a pumpkin. Mostly out of touch, or at the very least slow to respond. Back on September 14th.

• Bug 863512 - Tab dnd - landed the patch. There are two folloups:
• Bug 1194174 - cleaning up xul panel (or reusing it)
• Bug 1191274 - initial blank dragged image
• Bug 1175940 - TabChild::RecvUIResolutionChanged results in sync messages - just have pushed the patch to inbound (thanks Mike!)
• started diving into context menu support for the extension API
• PTO tomorrow

• bug 1174461 (m8, return cached result from SendGetNativePluginPort) - investigated this looking for the cause of the regression it introduced.
• bug 1152080 (m8, flash disappears when scrolling) - fixed, should land today.

• bug 1156742 - print to xps with low integrity sandbox - been investigating calls to existing gfxWindowsSurface during printing. Also looking at Chromium code in a bit more detail, I now believe that they are using separate EMF per page and the comments about faking this using GDI comments are just legacy. Started work on a new gfxEMFPrintingSurface class.
• bug 1189846 - "Print Edit" add-on - printing to PDF file no longer works in e10s windows

• Have a patch for M8 bug 1175267 (Add-ons manager goes blank when installing an XPI) struggling with tests

• Started looking at disabled mochitests

-> A bunch of them have already been fixed. -> Will start filing bugs to re-enable tests and to track disabled ones.

• Investigated state of m-e10s on OSX

-> Should be easy to turn on. Hopefully done next week.

• Bug 1033488 (aurora topcrash): turns out it should be fixed by another bug that was just pushed to Aurora.
• I have a ton of needinfos and reviews right now, will be working through them.
