  • Landed M8 bug 1175267 (Add-ons manager goes blank when installing an XPI)

jimm

  • bug 1137944 (m7, plugin painting) - working through this with roc. tester reported a deadlock with a try build, needs more work. Generally though it addresses the core painting problem.
  • bug 1163570 (m8, plugin windows sometimes stick around when switching to chrome tabs) - fixed
  • bug 1139400 (m8, thumbnails flicker in tabview when resizing tab groups) - fixed
  • working on e10s release criteria etherpad doc so we can gain some control over the e10s rollout decision making process
  • bug 1096804 (m8, busted taskbar tab previews) - kinda turned into a pita, requires some heavy rewriting of the c++ backend. haven't done much with this this week.

  • bug 1156742 - print to xps with low integrity sandbox - I have this pretty much working, but still needs some work. I will get a WIP patch up tomorrow and hopefully I can get some feedback while on PTO.

  • Worked on tests for most of the week.
  • Filed bug 1194533 on enabling e10s tests on OSX.

-> A ton of pushback, probably not enough machine time. RyanVM thinks we need to throw money at this problem. -> Maybe Windows would be easier?

  • Also filed a few bugs on tracking tests that currently fail on OSX+e10s.
  • Going through mochitests and enabling the ones that currently pass (and fixing easy ones that don't and filing bugs to track turning the rest on). Still need to file a bug to check my patch in.

blassey

  • bug 1180916 - tab switch causes to paint 4 full frames. Patch works and improves tab switch 10-20ms. But, we get test timeouts on integration (that don't happen locally)
  • nsHandlerService - got a WIP to remote that, addresses several bugs

gw280

  • back from PTO, mostly spent the time so far catching up, working out what's going on, and digesting the prelim patches that mconley wrote whilst I was away on bugs that he stole from me (bug 1090602 and bug 1183296)
