  • might need to upgrade twisted version (8.2.0 -> 10+)
  • 1. Dump existing files into ES
  • 2. Cron-dump-update log files from disk to ES
  • 3. Make buildbot write directly to ES (potentially queued on FS till the get moved to ES)
  • 4. Get rid of all dependencies (elmo & buildbot) on files

    • update_site.py script that rolls 1 commit (and its 1 (optional) migration) at a time
    • how often is this a problem?: not frequent
  • simpler solution: upgrade update_site.py to take an optional parameter of git commit ID so it becomes possible to deploy a specific version.
