What is the Mozilla Labs Café?

The Mozilla Labs Café (MLC) is a short, informal gathering of Mozillians, tech enthusiasts, developers, geeks, bloggers, and whoever is curious to know more about Mozilla Labs and all the different ongoing projects the labs team is working on.

Schedule

The MLC will commence at 13:00 and finish at 17:00

Agenda

After a brief welcome speech by Tristan Nitot, president of Mozilla Europe, there will be 3 scheduled talks.

  • Chris Beard, Director of Mozilla Labs, will give a general overview of most recent and current Labs projects;
  • Rey Bango, Mozilla Add-ons Community Manager, will give a talk on the current and future goals of Mozilla's add-on hub AMO;
  • Pascal Finette, Mozilla's Open Innovation Catalyst, will talk about the Labs' Concept Series

Format

The MLC will have a very informal format, where anyone will be invited to participate, ask questions and share their thoughts and ideas with the audience.

Coffee

A the name suggests, fresh brewed coffee will be served as well as yummy biscuits.
