What will your session or activity allow people to make, learn or do?
- They will find out the official channel for press for Mozilla related news
- They will get the chance to learn about Affiliates Mozilla Program
- The Firefox Affiliates program is a great way to share your love of Firefox and other Mozilla products. Host buttons on your site and climb your way to fame on the leaderboard
How do you see that working?
- I will present the program - how to subscribe, how to use it and most important why to use it!
- Why localized software is important - how many communities are there in Mozilla Community and ho different they are
- Why Localize media is important and where to gather official information
- Until London the Affiliates Facebook App will be ready and I will be able to work on it- easier to create Apps, larger market
How will you deal with 5, 15, 50 participants?
- 5 participants - intimate chat,presentation, examples, explanation and workshop with some affiliates created on site.
- 15 participants - 50/20/30 session with 50% doing a presentation, 20% workshop /example and 30% Q&A and clarifications/ help to make own affiliate
- 50 participants - 70/10/20 session with 80% doing a presentation. 10% workshop /1 example and 20% Q&A and clarifications/ help to make own affiliate if requested
How long within your session before someone else can teach this?
- In 30 minutes they will learn how to use it and will be ready to apply/ teach it forward. The rest of the time will be used to apply it on more sites/blogs.
What do you see as outcomes after the festival?
- More people will use Affiliates- better coverage of Mozilla sites, community sites, ReMo etc
- More Downloads for Mozilla Products : Firefox, Firefox for Android, Thunderbird
- More coverage of Press Release in other language than English
- Another way to engage people into Mozilla community and develop social connections
