I guess this includes fixing the problem with when you want to do a link search, having to type '<space> on international input methods in Windows which use e.g. 'e to type é (such as Dutch)... This is a regression, so it should be fixable.

I would very much like to be able to restrict search to a single frame (e.g. when searching within java api docs)

One thing I find very irritating is that Firefox makes it almost impossible to edit long wiki pages because there is no way to search within text-entry fields (my preferred method of seeking to the point which requires editing).

For this reason alone, I keep a copy of Konqueror on my otherwise GNOME-only system.

It would be nice to be able to highlight a term and have it be copied into the search field when the find toolbar is invoked. Metapad has this functionality, and it eliminates the need to manually copy-and-paste terms into the search field.

Unless I'm doing something wrong, clicking within a frame (as the help states) does not cause the search to be initiated in the frame. As the other user said, this is immensely frustrating when searching JavaDocs - in IE, you click in the main document frame and Ctrl-F and search. In Firefox, you have to wade through the first two frames.
