    • June 9 - “An Interview with Alex” from Carrie Wang, a Chinese-born, NYC-based multimedia artist and 2019 NYU Master’s grad
    • June 12 - “TheirTube” from Tomo Kihara, a Japanese-born designer and a developer living in the Netherlands making playful interventions that untangle complex social issues)

  • Campaigns: Amazon Ring campaign research, ad disclosure on streaming TV services. Firefox relay services-based campaign
  • Insights: Working on data stewardship project database, refining the research roadmap, exploring collaborations, onboarding researchers, working on IHR format and global committee, planning IHR Call for Ideas and contributors Slack channel
  • Communications: Publicizing CMA "Choose Your Own Fake News"; planning for All Hands plenary and June D&D; planning for fellow Harriet K.'s research launch
  • ED: Reviewing candidates for the European AI Fund consultancy; white paper outreach and comment review; eviewing Africa Innovation work and moving ahead to approval
  • Partnerships: Preparing our June grassroots appeal, major donor benefits planning, and calendaring the rest of 2020 fundraising activities
  • Fellowships & Awards: Reviewing fellowship extension proposals; planning for Open Web ‘end of year’ fellowship event; coordinating with fellows + advocacy + policy teams on feedback to the EU AI white paper public consultations
  • MozFest: Tech audience needs report writing, Wrangler Mentor onboarding, MozFest scenario mapping & planning, MozFest website updating
  • Organizational Effectiveness: All Hands planning, engagement survey assessment and org effectiveness factor
  • Finance & Ops: Closing April Statements, Finalizing RSM/Tate&Tryon 2020-2021 contract and Working on Foundation 2019 tax return workbook

  • HR: Reviewing remote worker guidelines; preparing framework to kick off job description audit, starting with Director level roles in Q2

Minutes From the Last Executive Team Weekly Meeting

  • Response to current events - Discussed plans for external comms to respond to the week’s events.
  • All Hands - Discussed initial preparations and framing for our pre-All Hands Town Hall on June 11.
  • Foundation site IA - Anil, Kristina, Rebecca and Tais joined to present wireframes and a proposal for iterating foundation.mozilla.org, which would include new navigation, a homepage refresh, and updated content about the organization and our programs. The purpose is to ensure the site is organized in a way that makes sense to our users and supports our strategy and theory of change.
