What's Moving This Week

  • Insights: Finalizing data stewardship database, drafting "foundations" part of data stewardship landscape analysis and planning outreach, working on project brief for movement partnership landscape analysis, refining IHR format and themes/calls with stakeholders
  • Campaigns: Regrouping after All Hands and taking forward ideas from the VP-led team time into campaigns that feed into the misinformation content theme
  • Fellowships & Awards: All Hands debriefing + H2 planning; Tech + Society application review; kicking off a Fluxx review w/ the grants management team
  • Partnerships: June fundraising appeal, Ford grant writing, and All Hands debriefing / H2 planning
  • Communications: Preparing for June 30 D&D; continued publicity for Zoom victory; planning for upcoming CMA launches
  • MozFest: MozFest scenario mapping, Working Group planning
  • Organizational Effectiveness: All Hands debrief, prep for engagement survey, Data Lead recruitment
  • Finance & Ops: Complete RSM Contract; Prepare financials for upcoming MoFo Board Finance Committee; Complete updated 2020 Forecast; Complete 990 Workbook
  • Engagement: IA staging, IA design (homepage, user testing), End of H1 fundraising appeals, PNI 4.0, what's next for our support of BLM, election content work
  • HR: Project debrief for the Performance Review process, and continuing to push recruitment forward
  • Angela will be speaking at virtual event, TINCON, on June 26th. The panel is The (Social) Business of Searching the Internet and with Ecosia, Génica Schäfgen.
  • Tomorrow there is an event hosted by the Montreal AI Ethics Institute to help gather feedback on the white paper, it's free if anyone wants to attend:
