This page lists people that contribute code, documentation, examples and other stuff to Krad Radio. It would be nice if everyone writes one or two sentences about himself. Sorted alphabetically, not by importance ;)

I'm a 25yr old student (Master of engineering in electronics and information technology) from Germany (about 40km south-east of Frankfurt/Main). Some years ago I wrote software and administered servers for web radio stations. I'm using Gentoo Linux and most of my coding is done in Qt4/C++ or Tcl/Tk.

What I want to use krad radio is to build a live-streaming system for a youth center with 2-4 firewire-attached cameras that are connected to one laptop each so they can roam around. They stream their video via WiFi to a central director's computer where all sources can be monitored and selected/composited for the final image. Audio can then be taken from the cams or come directly from the live audio mixing console via netjack or HTTP-stream. The director-PC will use the KORG nanoKONTROL2 to make the live-selection job easier. The final stream will be encoded wo WebM (VP8 + vorbis) and sent to an icecast-server for distribution.

Until today I made this demo video (showing the nanoKONTROL2): [http://kradradio.com/?p=424] and contributed tiny bits of code. More to come :)

made some small corrections to krad radio (according to github) and posted some ideas to the krad radio wiki on github. Since the wiki is now on MozillaWiki, the text can now be found here: Krad Radio/Comments by sitedyno

I'm helping develop krad radio, and I'm just so into krad radio! I have a background in scientific computing, but lately I mostly use my programming talents on opensource projects I greatly admire or maybe even love. Krad radio is just the kind of awesome combination of openness, digital audio/video, high performance computing, etc., that keeps me interested and excited about the code and the outcomes. I'm also a big jack audio fan and user. Before krad, I was working on various xmms2 projects. If you know krad, you know jack and xmms2 are two of krad's best friends, and two of my best friends, too. http://kradradio.com/?p=316 For more about me.

Hi, I don't really know who I am or what I do here but I do know that I like working on Krad a lot.

I'm CS undergraduate student, I live in a splendid country (Italy) and I spend most of my time talking non-sense (with oneman's help).

I fell in love with Krad since the first hour! It's a brilliant project with brilliant people working on it (yes, me too :P).

Hope is to make the difference here.
