Establishing an open PO with accounting for l10n projects - 1300PM

Purpose

In the likelihood of outsourcing some localization requests to agencies, a more streamlined PO application/approval process requires a visit to the current practice of budget request and approval.

Goals

Evaluate the pros and cons of having centralized PO system for localization and budget ownership. Identify the logistics of cross charging between organizations;

Expected Outcome

Have an agreed upon process between l10n team, Finance and A/P: starting 2017, one PO initiated by L10n team associated with one vetted l10n agency can cover l10n requests from different organizations. Cross charge to requesting org will be conducted after l10n work is completed and invoice billed.
