Notes:

1) Discuss status of paris_demo branch: is Xavier (from Spacegoo) unblocked?

  • We believe so. Maire will contact him.
  • Randell updated the webrtc-demo code to include working a datachannel example and make it easier to use.

2) Review project map, owners -- talk some about time estimates for tasks (desired for Friday)!

  • Want to add milestone for "interop with Chrome" to the project map
  • People will get their estimates to Maire and the team by Friday 3pm PDT

3) Progress update from Enda on refactoring sipcc

  • Refactoring discussion on SipCC to occur Tuesday 7am PDT at Cisco with others dialing in. We hope in particular to resolve the MediaStream interface issues.
  • Enda will continue learning how SipCC interacts with media streams.
  • Depending on webrtc interfaces may not be as big a deal with b2g/etc given google's apparent support for Android now.
  • Summary of the Tuesday SipCC meeting will be provided by ekr or ethan.

4) Discuss any current blockers for developers

  • Landing plans need to be developed and coordinated with reviewers and security team
  • ekr could use help on make issues, especially around testing and import of gtest. Ted may be a resource here directly or as an adviser.
  • Need to get test coverage into build - Starts with turning on basic coverage and then adding specific WebRTC tests. UPDATE SINCE MEETING: New bugs have been opened: Bug 749577 to enable checkin tests for alder, and Bug 749522 for creating WebRTC specific tests

5) Questions or new items

  • Action item: Randell will provide a draft of what needs to be tested. UPDATE SINCE MEETING: Randell created Bug 749522, which has his initial draft; please read and contribute ideas there.

6) What's needed for next meeting

  • Next week's meeting will be brief because it will occur in the middle of the SipCC refactoring meeting.
  • We will meet to see if anyone has blocker issues or problems, otherwise normal meetings will resume the week after next.

NOTE: Starting the week of April 30, we will meet Tuesdays at 8:30 PDT. This is the new regular meeting time and day
