Meeting Notes - 6/5/2012, 8:00am Pacific:

1) Update on getUserMedia work (Anant, Suhas)

  • DOM bindings in, Desktop backend mostly ready.
  • Suhas waiting on m-c -> alder merge (will do today - randell)

2) Update on DTLS Transport work (EKR)

  • Slip some, not too badly
  • DTLS patch still waiting review (generic DTLS transport) (Today or tomorrow)
  • NSS landings for DTLS-SRTP coming
  • ICE: imported libraries build and link. Unify licences. Will want support on Windows from Ted/Joey
  • Try to start pulling thanks back into alder to avoid divergence
  • Suhas got standalone gtest working with webrtc which should ease testing

3) Update on signaling work (Ethan, Suhas, Randell)

  • Patch up, beginnings of unit test. Makes calls, but not using all the correct interfaces/paths yet.
  • Ethan needs to access MediaStream arrays from sipcc - issues with gkmedia on Windows?
    • Need to investigate linkage issues with kyle/ted/glandium/etc - Randell
  • Checkin tests enabled, try should work

4) Update on data channels (Randell)

  • Almost done merging changes to the libsctp protocol; green on linux/mac, close on windows
  • SCTP team still working on DTLS transport
  • Will disable direct IP transport as a configure option to simplify portability (though nice for experimenting with other in Mozilla)
  • Hope to lock down protocol at the Interim (and use of onopen in DOM)

5) Update on the landing plan progress (Randell)

  • Most reviews done, waiting on khuey to review Make system patches and for the tree to open.

6) Discuss any current blockers for people or new items that haven't already been discussed

  • None

7) Any updates needed to the project map?

  • Randell starting using yellow and green without explanation
  • Once you've finished a task, please make the bubble green.

8) Any questions/concerns about the spec work or discussions on the list? Any questions for the Google office hours?

9) Should we skip next week's meeting (June 12) since the interim WebRTC meeting is next week or should we meet briefly 3 hours after the end of the Tuesday session?

  • Decision: Cancel next week's meeting
