Notes - 6/26/2012, 8:00am Pacific:
1) Update on getUserMedia work (Anant, Suhas)
- clock drift issues may not be dealable in the next week or two
- File a bug for the clock dirft/sync issue, and land
- landing plan: pref on webrtc, resolve anything, then land getUserMedia() behind an about:config pref
- Randell to look at clock drift issue; pull in jmspeex
2) Update on Transport work (EKR)
- Landed generic transport stuff on alder/default
- Windows totally broken
- Oranges on signaling tests
- One crasher on transport test (race condition on shutdown)
- Waiting on Michael Tuexen
- Starting integration with signaling
- Not blocked on fingerprint (will need)
3) Update on signaling work (Enda, Ethan, Suhas, Randell)
- New patch improving shutdown and threading.
- Started work adding local tracks to SIPCC internals for SDP generation.
- Must ensure not to break SIPCC phone functionality.
- ekr, cullen suhas meeting today in MV
- Merged peerconnection branch into alder/default
- re-broke linux-qt builds
- Communication with GSM layer rework now that we have pointers to MediaStreams
- Message-passing and ownership issues, C vs C++ - ekr: use string handles which correspond to a pointer and lock
- with gkmedia, mem releases must be in same module as allocated (may be irrelevant)
- Use nsIDOMMediaStreams for AddStream (circle with roc on how to deal with pre-recorded streams)
4) Update on data channels (Randell)
- Michael Tuexen almost ready (today maybe) for ekr
- Randell needs to help Irene with DOM issues
5) Next steps on the landing plan (Randell).
- Pref on webrtc (RSN)
- Land getUserMedia behind about:config
- prepare for signaling/transport landing
- Set up rollup patch(es) for signaling against initial import
- Start security review process
- Check on cdiehl's status (fuzzing)
6) Discuss any current blockers for people or new items that haven't been discussed
- Lost Joey at least temporarily - looking for alternatives
- Randell filling in
- ekr terrified by this build issue
7) Please update project map -- especially now that first part of WebRTC is on m-c. Any surprises since we last talked?
- Maire asked for update to JSEP tasks on the project map
8) Any questions/concerns about the spec work or discussions on the list? Any fallout from the interim that we need to discuss? Any questions for the Google office hours?
- Derf told us that Ericsson wants to talk about QoS markings on a hangout on Thursday.
