Notes 7/3/2012, 8:00am Pacific:

0) Update on build/config situation (Maire, Randell, EKR)

  • Maire is hoping to get Ted on the team starting next Monday. (Ted is on PTO this week.)
  • Use Kyle on an interrupt basis

1) Update on getUserMedia work (Anant, Suhas)

  • Just stuck on popup blocking
  • Up for review by end of this week
  • jesup suggests putting up for review now with known issue - agreed (jesup/roc/jst as reviewers)

2) Update on Transport work (EKR)

  • This work is effectively done for now. I have landed it on alder/default.
  • Can't do anything on SCTP until I have code from Tuexen.
  • Next step is to integrate this with the signaling code.

3) Update on signaling work (Enda, Ethan, Suhas, Randell)

  • Integration work between SIPCC and ICE has begun. ICE attributes are getting placed into the SDP. Seems fairly fast(!)
  • Next have to retrive and add the ufrag and pwd. Also implement review comments from EKR.
  • ekr working on testing code to enable standalone tests for negotiation, etc. Blocked on a singleton issue - expect to resolve soon. [We will be having a call about that at 9]
  • two lines - one: make ICE/SDP work, two: unwind reason we can't have two peerconnections (singleton issue)

4) Update on data channels (Randell)

  • SCTP CVS server down - email into Tuexen/Stewart. They should move it to sourceforge/github/somewhere....
  • Server now back up. First patches checked in.
  • Proposal on the lists for DOM API design. Minimal feedback

5) Next steps on the landing plan (Randell).

  • Pref webrtc on (this week); deal with fallout
  • Land getUserMedia() behind about:config pref
  • Continue lining up reviewers
  • re-engage with security

6) Discuss any current blockers for people or new items that haven't been discussed

  • Discussed already

7) Thank you for recent updates to the project map. Any big changes since we last talked?

  • None

8) Any questions/concerns about the spec work or discussions on the list?

  • Maire and Randell are on vacation the week of 7/16
  • Next Google office hours are 7/11. (Serge is on vacation this week.)
