Notes:

1) Where are we on landing Media Transport and Signaling in moz-central?

  • Mtransport -- Working to get time from bsmith and mcmanus (both on the networking team) to review the mtransport code. Randell and/or Maire will ping Josh (manager of networking team).
  • Signaling -- Randell and EKR are the reviewers for this. Network team gave a pass.

2) What do we need to do to be ready for reviews of PeerConnection?

  • James and Ian are going to work on the PeerConnection code with input from ekr and anant. They will talk later on IRC.
  • (jsmith) Question - What specific bugs should I watching closely to know that the full stack of WebRTC is ready for testing vs. not (i.e. X bugs lands = ready for QA testing)?
  • Maire and/or Randell and probably others (like Anant and EKR) will reach out to jsmith when it has all landed and ready for testing.

3) Are there any important things to talk about in these areas?

a) JSEP - Bundle

  • EKR and Enda talked about the main Bundle bug. The online spec for Bundle is old. Fluffy said we can push with MMUSIC any time and get consensus. Christer has an idea about using the same port in m= lines, but it won't work. We decided to leave bundle for Firefox 19. Enda said he'd upload the patch he had and we'dget back to it after the work for Firefox 18 was done.

b) Media Transport

  • Nothing mentioned

c) Media

  • Nothing mentioned

d) DOM

  • Nothing mentioned

e) Identity

  • Nothing mentioned

4) gUM

    • UX design - We will keep it very simple for Firefox 18 (if we can get it in)
    • Where are we on gUM functionality?
      • Anant is focused on unblocking the front-end devs (Bug 752352)
      • Randell will ask Roc if he can work on capturing A/V in one stream

5) Interop with Chrome status

  • Hung out with Chrome last Wednesday
    • Chrome is prefixed
    • RFC 5245 ICE was just added to Chrome
    • Chrome will target interop for M24.

6) WebRTC/gUM bug triage is happening Wed at 11am Pacific

7) Discuss any current blockers for people or new items that haven't been discussed

  • None mentioned
