1) Crash bugs & Sec-Critical bugs, Major Functionality Bugs: where are we?
- (jsmith) Crash bugs: https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/buglist.cgi?keywords=crash%2C%20;keywords_type=allwords;list_id=4686619;resolution=---;query_format=advanced;component=WebRTC;component=WebRTC%3A%20Audio%2FVideo;component=WebRTC%3A%20Networking;component=WebRTC%3A%20Signaling;product=Core
- (jsmith) Sec-Critical Bugs: https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/buglist.cgi?keywords=sec-critical%2C%20;keywords_type=allwords;list_id=4686623;resolution=---;query_format=advanced;component=WebRTC;component=WebRTC%3A%20Audio%2FVideo;component=WebRTC%3A%20Networking;component=WebRTC%3A%20Signaling;product=Core
- 22 bugs total when we met
- Folks are traveling (many at TPAC and then at IETF).
- Randell, EKR, Ethan, and Anant are prioritizing these bugs first. We need more people. We know we'll get Adam Roach (starting Nov 5) and Paul Adnenot (starting around Nov 5).
2) gUM
- Functionality: Where are we on blockers?
- UX design
- Who can work on UI work?
- 1) Bug 804611 - Add a "Don't ask me again"
- 2) Bug 805632 - getUserMedia: Add an easy way within Firefox to shut down camera/microphone access after access has been granted
- 3) Bug 805631 versus Bug 799417 - Indicate camera/microphone is active on one or more tabs
- Need mock up for Bug 805632 first. Anant/Maire to ping Boriss. Then Dao will code it up with help from Anant/Randell.
- Who can work on UI work?
3) Other bugs people are working
- None mentioned
4) Interop
- No interop in Chrome M24, but we will have Opus
- EKR will be meeting some with Justin in Lyon and Atlanta
5) Planning for IETF
- Big focus on MTI video codec consensus vote
6) Security review preparation
- Randell and Maire need to set up meetings with the security team
7) Discuss any current blockers for people or new items that haven't been discussed
- (jsmith) Aurora 18 uplift policy - Plan is to uplift all crash and sec-critical bugs fixes by default. Any other bugs should be nominated if someone feels it is important for the fix to be in Aurora.
8) Testing
- Where do we stand on infrastructure?
- (jsmith) Close on completing the gUM full automation patch, just need two more quick bug fixes and it should be ready for review
- (jsmith) Will also be looking analyzing https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=803976 heavily this week
- Automated testing - Need to fix leak bugs, use Alder in the meantime.
- Must prioritize after crash and sec-critical bugs are addressed
9) Bug Triage
- Triaged new bugs
- Reviewed blocker gUM bugs (25 bugs at the time)
- Reviewed blocker webrtc bugs (69 bugs at the time)
