Notes:

1) PeerConnection, DataChannels blocking-webrtc+ bugs:

  • Firefox 22 uplift is Monday (April 1)
  • 3 patches in flight which should help with stability once landed (bug 853998, bug 839650, bug 830100), plus a few others that are ready to land (843695, 842126, 843984, 845518, 845513, 846012, 853449)
  • Bug 844493 (main DISPATCH bug) landed
    • Bug 841981 is still happening, but will be addressed with the DataChannel clean up
  • Bug 841496 is an intermittent, but was happening fairly regularly until 3/19
  • Bug 837035 - Hook up DataChannels to the SDP (memory corruption in PGO builds)
    • We'll try disabling PGO and see what happens
  • Update DataChannels for IETF decisions
    • Bug 846110 (breaking change to match the spec)
  • TURN support
    • We will try to land TURN support in time, but not block WebRTC release on this
  • Bug 840962 - VPN failure
    • jib has a fix
  • Audio latency (Bug 785584)
    • could be our toughest bug to fix
    • need to break it down into sub-bugs (this may become a meta bug)
  • Bug 834835 - get*Tracks support (Roc will be working this this week)
    • need to specify which parts to priority for Fx22
  • Other bugs we want to fix in Fx22 (and currently are blockers):
    • Bug 839070, 838084 - Interop crashes (need investigation)
    • Bug 838319 - STUN crash (Test case just added)
    • Bug 838380 - STUN crash (pretty straight forward)
    • Bug 834270 - Error Handling (basic clean up is fine for now) -- abr working on this now
    • Bug 844295 - Clean up (trivial) - checked (crypt)
    • Bug 8225560 - Checked in (crypt)
    • Bug 845357 - Checked in (crypt)
    • Bug 845362 - TSAN bugs (straightforward)

2) Android development

  • Getting patches cleaned up for m-c
    • Might be in before uplift

3) B2G development

  • Where does the network code go?
    • E10S discussion happening 11am Pacific on Thursday

4) Testing

  • Nothing new to report outside of the stuff from last week

5) Discuss any current problems for people or issues that haven't been discussed -- or Any heads up for the group

  • "Mobile (FxOS/Android) WebRTC work week"
  • Hoping to close the poll in one week (The sooner you can take the poll, the better since folks want to book their travel for IETF-87, and if the group chooses July 22 or Aug 5 for the work week, we'd likely do our work week in Berlin).
