1) Stand-ups:

  • Active developers will give a 1 minute (or less) stand up focusing on -
    • what are you currently working on that the team is following/tracking (please give the bug number) and when do you think you'll be done?
    • what are you moving onto next?
    • have you hit any problems/blockers (especially unexpected problems)?
    • feel free to put a longer summary in the etherpad, but try to limit spoken comments to 1 mins or less. We can use the second half of the meeting (Discussion) for deeper dives.

    • AEC move (bug 694814) - landed and bounced twice. B2G-emulator is a morass of pain. See mozilla.dev.platform
      • Enables noise supression by default
    • Webrtc.org 3.50 on hold waiting for gcp to be available
    • Found out that crypt's talos patches are closer to done than we thought
    • Reviewing HW h.264 and vp8 support

    • B2G emulator pain. And more pain
    • Working on next steps in the MSG refactor

    • Working on Loop. Spent lots of times in meetings with 3rd party partners

    • Landing patches for identity
    • Getting reviews and feedback on peerIdentity constraint implementation

    • Working on OpenH264 at Cisco
    • Not my patch, but bug 957928 - GMP needs review.

    • Focused on getting his Flame working with John Lin's patches (bug 911046)

    • Working with Tiger Team, Looking at mochitests for Gecko 32.

    • intra-team communication experiment: IRC bot and http://standu.ps/project/loop set up
    • dug into marionette-based automated testing; lots of progress thanks to pair with mdas
    • up next: get browser-side unit tests, and then functional tests working in marionette automation and/or MVP UX stuff with Darrin

    • Finished getting the demo code landed
    • Filed bugs for various issues with the demo code.
    • Helped abr with work on running with limited privs in the browser
    • Reviews
    • Now working on improving various aspects of the call, e.g. bug 972941

    • Fixing front-end UI. Marked in bugzilla.

    • Just back from Services work week, Lots of discussions on Loop

    • Just back from Services work week

    • Followed along with Randel and GCP as the merge the 3.50 code.
    • Tracking down why video does not react to overuse signals and adapt on OS X
    • Completing fake video timestamp encoding bug. Creating utility methods to extract timestamp and to print timestamp.
