Tegra

  • Many devices down right now waiting for recovery, we went by the last-job time in getting this list. (Majority seem SDCard Related). Nothing Directly actionable by mobile teams at this moment. Releng assisting IT to resolve the issue in bug 778812
  • Tegra-Reboots-Bug - In staging, with new SUTAgent, we saw some reboots during tests again, these reboots did not have any reboot SUT commands coming in from external IP's. The remaining best theory is the watcher program on the tegras. This pings mozilla.org by default, and with 3 failed pings it reboots the tegra. We are planning to deploy a .ini config file that will stop this behavior. (It is legacy from when we had no PDU available for remote rebooting)

  • Developing a remote re-imaging process for pandas bug 764534
  • Working on a higher density chassis bug 777393
  • IT will be expanding in SCL1 Datacenter for mobile device housing bug 774477
  • 81 new tegras will be put into production pool bug 767447
  • Building 5 new panda chassis for scl1 bug 777359

A Team

  • panda boards are stuck on mochitests, we don't seem to be running the test inside the iframe, but reftests and talos are still working well.
    • debug builds don't seem to run on panda boards either.
  • Cross-platform C++ SUTAgent for B2G and elsewhere:
    • First draft of requirements done; tweaking based on feedback.
    • Working on design/implementation plan.

S1/S2 Automation

  • adb -> SUT review finished; will be deploying to production today or tomorrow.

Eideticker

  • Mostly on hold due to investigations into pandas/tegras
  • It looks like Eideticker found a regression in the CNN benchmark based on an overall trend (bug 777357), however actually isolating the offending changeset is proving difficult.
  • Got ARMv6 device in mail, unfortunately it's the wrong one and doesn't have HDMI out: bug 764491 (maybe could use some help pushing to reorder the right one). Still making headway porting eideticker to it and running tests in non-HDMI capture mode.
