Mozilla Mobile Support Team

The mobile support team owns help and support deliverables for Firefox for Android and the Firefox OS. We work with contributors to answer questions on the forum, write help articles, plan support strategy and to define the mobile support experience within Mozilla's mobile products. We blog about it here.

Mission

Our mission is to enable every user to have a positive experience of support with Firefox for Android and the Firefox OS, so that no issue represents a hassle. We strive to enable users to become contributors to support by helping them to learn from other users in a fun, enriching environment. We meet about that here: https://etherpad.mozilla.org/sumo-mobile

Collaboration

The mobile support team collaborates with SUMO product and content managers, SUMO community managers, SUMOdev, UX, and User Advocacy to provide a unique support experience for mobile that delights users.

Partnering

The mobile support team partners with engineering, product management, and services to scope, schedule, and review support deliverables on-time with high quality. We partner with QA to document and log product issues, test products ourselves and bring issues from the field to quality engineers. The mobile support team also partners with OEMs and carriers to deliver world-class mobile OS help and support to smartphone users.
