Who are Mozilla UK? (Team)

Mozilla UK is none other than you (well... if you live in the UK and are interested in Mozilla)! Mozilla UK is a small subset of the global Mozilla Community of 40,000. We are the ones who go out and do our bits to help make Mozilla awesome. We are the ones who contribute code, convert "z" to "s" and make all those little locale changes from en-US to en-GB. It is us who helps you when you have a Firefox problem, and it is us who organise great big parties whenever there is something Mega-Awesome-Mozillary to celebrate.

Not only is Mozilla UK awesome, but you are too. Just for visiting this page you became more awesome and we would like the thank you for being so awesome... by the way... did we mention how awesome you are?

So who maintains this site? Well it is a small collection of equaly awesome people like you. These people are:

Tobias Markus is specialised in WebQA and SUMO (not as in sumo wrestler but as in Mozilla user support). He started contributing to Mozilla way back in 2008 and has since become very active in many other areas of the Mozilla project. Sure he is German but we wont hold that against him, after all Mozilla is a global community. Tobbi (as he is usually known) is the Mozilla UK domain name owner.

Tom Ellins, long time Mozilla contributor, specialises in WebQA and SUMO. He is now branching out into other areas of the Mozilla project such as community sites and participation. TMZ as we know him is one of our site administrators... got a problem then he is the person to go to.

Leo McArdle is possibly the youngest Mozillian that we know of in the UK however this is definatly one of his strong points. He works with SUMO, and of course anything else Mozilla! Community member since 2008 his other hobbies include web development, graphics design, and voluntry work for another worthy cause. Amnesty International. Leo is another one of the site administrators and is happy to help you whenever you need... well... as long as he is awake.

William Duyck, community volunteer since the age of 13 started working with the Mozilla community back in 2005, helps with anything to do with community engagement. Organising events, helping run events, and creating fun online activites for the whole Mozilla community, and now working on getting more people involved with Mozilla. William (or FuzzyFox) is the helping hand behind the scenes of Mozilla UK doing whatever is needed, from writting content to changing the light blubs that appear above your head when you have a great idea.

Want to join this list?! We want you to so tell us a bit about yourself and lend a hand to keeping this site and the Mozilla UK community alive and kicking!
