Round 17 spans Dec 4, 2018 - March 4, 2019.

_NOTE_ these dates have been moved back several days by the Outreachy organizers. The internship dates remain unchanged.

Sept. 3, 2018 Most Outreachy mentoring communities and internship projects will be listed
Sept. 20, 2018 Applicants start making contributions to internship projects
Oct. 2, 2018 Last date for new mentoring community listings
Oct. 16, 2018 Last date for new internship project listings
Oct. 30, 2018 at 4pm UTC Application deadline. Last day to finish any contributions to internship projects. Applications who made a contribution must submit the rest of their project application by this date.
Oct. 6, 2018 at 4pm UTC Late application deadline for specific projects (see below for which projects are accepting late applications)
Oct. 30, 2018 to Nov. 16, 2018 Applicants are encouraged to continue making contributions
Nov. 16, 2018 Accepted interns announced on the alums page at 4pm UTC
Dec. 4, 2018 to March 4, 2019 Internships period
