      • 40.0 Beta builds validation - Beta 1 & 2

      • Exploratory testing - low integrity NPAPI plugin sandbox for Flash on Windows (Nightly) - will also include this in Firefox 40 Beta 3 testday (next Friday)
  • [Ioana] Mobile updates:
    • Signed off 39 RC
    • Currently testing 41 Aurora - several issues found - build pretty shaky
      • New bugs:

bug 1178650 - Browsing add-ons fails bug 1178747 - Installed apps are not appearing in about:apps until browser restart [doesn't affect updates signoff] bug 1178768 - 'Change' buttons form about:telemetry does not work bug 1178761 - Incorrect navigator.userAgent requested via Request Desktop Site bug 1179184 - Webm video does not start to play automatically with Autoplay preference enabled Bug 1179195 - [TABLET] Swipe to close a tab from tab panel animation is busted after performing specific scenario

      • Known bug but sever ones:

bug 1175532 - No visible action when choosing "Share" from Action Bar and Reader View toolbar bug 1176680 - Exiting full screen mode on a webm video will display the previously visited webpage in full screen Bug 1176172 - Cannot open some downloads (apk included) Bug 1174784 - Youtube video playback broken with Android version in UA string

    • KaiRo had some conversations in Whistler on better integrating his data with other metrics data at Mozilla.
  • Stability (KaiRo)
    • Socorro running out of AWS now, apparently still some smaller fallout from that, but overall working well.
    • Crash signatures are changing: bug 1163831 (<T>) already done, bug 1171437 (removal of (...) arguments) still coming.
    • Something great happened on June 24 - crash rates are down, esp. memory-related (OOM|small and others), might be website-related but we are not sure what it was. http://arewestableyet.com/graph/?fxrel

  • Startup crash bug 1151506 is holding back release. New builds should hopefully only crash once and then block the DLL on subsequent launches - not ideal solution but best we can do.

Beta (Fx40) (Desktop - KaiRo Mobile - Ioana/Kevin)

  • Blocked by beta channel still being needed for 39 RCs.

Aurora (Fx 41) (Desktop - KaiRo Mobile - Ioana/Kevin)
